Bennett & Game are delighted to be working with a well-established specialist contractor operating within the roofing and external envelope sector. With a turnover of circa £25m and a strong reputation across London and the South East, the business continues to grow steadily and now requires an additional Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
Based from their modern head office in Southend-on-Sea, the Quantity Surveyor will work across a mix of office and site-based duties, supporting projects throughout London. Schemes range in value from £20k up to £3.5m and include refurbishment and new build works within the roofing and externals division. The role would suit an experienced Quantity Surveyor from any construction background, although externals experience would be advantageous. This opportunity is also open to Graduate or Assistant QS candidates looking for a step-up into a hands-on commercial role, with clear exposure to projects and progression opportunities.
Salary & Benefits- Salary: £45k - £55k DOE

- Providing commercial and contractual support to site and project teams
- Liaising with clients, consultants and supply chain partners
- Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within construction, or a Graduate/Assistant QS ready for a step-up
- Open to candidates from all construction backgrounds, externals preferred
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently (for experienced QS)
- Strong understanding of commercial processes and construction contracts
- Confident communicator with good organisational skills
- Proficient in Excel and standard commercial systems
- Full UK driving licence
