Service Engineer – Job Overview Servicing, maintaining & repairing pumps, generators and Diesel-powered equipment, both in house and at customer sites Preparing and inspecting equipment at the depot prior to hire Carrying out overhauls and refurbishments on end-of-life machinery Diagnosing faults and repairing machinery to prevent downtime Collaborating with the Service team, Hire Controller and Foreman to work as effectively as possible Covering Engineering works across the West Midlands Service Engineer – Job Requirements Previous experience in the service, diagnosis and repair of mechanical equipment Previous experience working with Plant Equipment, Pumps, Generators and / or Diesel Engines Good working knowledge of EHSQ practices Qualified in an Engineering / Mechanical & Electrical discipline to NVQ Level 3 Full UK Driving licence Based locally to Walsall Service Engineer – Salary & Benefits Salary £35,000 – £38,000 DOE Overtime available Company Vehicle 33 Days holiday inclusive of public holidays Pension Bennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
