Our client, a specialist roofing and cladding contractor based near Glasgow, is currently seeking a Senior Designer / Technical Designer to join their expanding team. With over 30 years of experience and a strong reputation in the industry, they deliver innovative roofing and cladding solutions across the Central Belt region, working with Tier 1 contractors on a range of high-profile projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Designer to play a key technical role in a respected and growing business.
Benefits:- Salary: £50k - £70k (DOE)

- Lead the design and detailing of roofing and cladding systems across multiple projects
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, fabrication details, and 3D models
- Coordinate design with clients, Tier 1 contractors, and internal teams to ensure accurate and compliant delivery
- Provide technical support and advice to project teams and site staff
- Attend client and site meetings when required to resolve design challenges
- Ensure designs meet all relevant standards, specifications, and health & safety requirements
- Oversee and mentor junior designers within the team
- Proven experience in roofing and cladding design
- Strong technical knowledge of façade systems, materials, and detailing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design software (Revit, SolidWorks, or similar advantageous)
- Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Familiarity with UK building regulations and industry standards
- Based near Glasgow or willing to travel across the Central Belt region when required
