Our client is a well renowned Specialist FM company based in the North west who specialise in HVAC & Commercial Catering maintenance and was founded in the 1960s. Currently, due to continued expansion in the North Region, a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer is required to carry out Service, Maintenance and reactive work across the Yorkshire Region.

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer – Yorkshire Job Overview

  • Responsible for repairing and maintaining Refrigeration & Air Conditioning equipment across the retail, hospitality, leisure & Hospitals.
  • Undertake necessary diagnostic tests and fault-finding exercises and be able to identify the correct tools, equipment, and parts to carry out the task.

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer – Yorkshire Job Requirements

  • City & Guilds Qualification in Refrigeration and/or Air Conditioning.
  • FGAS (C&G 2079 Cat 1 or equivalent)
  • Hydrocarbon (City and Guilds 6187-21 or equivalent)
  • Good Electrical Competency
  • Strong experience working on commercial refrigeration equipment, such as; Display Refrigeration, Cellar Cooling, Cold Rooms, Ice Machines, Bottle Coolers
  • Ability to work across on various Air Conditioning systems; VRV, VRF, Split and Multi Split

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer – Yorkshire Salary & Benefits

  • Salary up to £39,500 based on 40-hour week
  • Overtime x1.5/x2.0
  • 31 days holiday inc bank holiday – Rising to 34 after 12 months. Plus 1 Day after every 5-year service
  • Bonus scheme for Long Service

  • 1-6 call out – £100 stand by payment plus overtime
