Bennett & Game are representing a planning-led multidisciplinary consultancy seeking an Associate Director level Transport Planner to support continued growth within their Transport Planning & Infrastructure team in Bristol. This is a senior-level role offering technical leadership, client ownership and a clear progression route within a collaborative, employee-owned environment.
Role Overview
You will play a key role delivering a wide range of transport planning projects for public and private sector clients across the UK, taking responsibility for both technical delivery and client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Site appraisals and site promotion
- Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
- Travel Plans and sustainable mobility strategies
- Junction and network modelling
- Development planning and infrastructure planning
- Data analysis, forecasting and reporting
- Stakeholder engagement and client liaison
- Day-to-day project management and prioritisation
- Maintaining high technical standards across projects
- Building and strengthening long-term client relationships
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Requirements
- Proven experience in Transport Planning at Senior / Principal / Associate level
- Strong report writing and interpersonal communication skills
- Confident user of ARCADY, PICADY, TRICS, TEMPro and AutoCAD
- Experience delivering development-led transport planning projects
- Comfortable in a client-facing role with relationship management responsibility
- Well motivated, proactive and commercially aware
- Working towards or already chartered with CIHT, CILT or TPS (desirable)
