My client is currently seeking an exceptionally skilled Welder to join their specialist team. The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive experience in Mig welding with various materials including Stainless steel.

Mig Welder Job Overview

  • MIG weld stainless steel and titanium to a high standard, with fine aesthetic and structural quality.
  • Weld in inert atmosphere (glovebox) where required for titanium components.
  • Operate fabrication equipment including sizing machines, rolling machines, seam welders, and presses.
  • Participate in on-vehicle development work, using vehicle lifts to trial and adjust prototype systems in situ.
  • Contribute to the design and fabrication of prototype and production tooling to support manufacturing and testing.
  • Work closely with engineering and design teams to iterate and develop functional prototype parts.
  • Inspect components for dimensional accuracy and overall quality throughout the build process.

Mig Welder Job Requirements

  • Proven expertise in MIG welding, particularly with stainless steel and titanium.
  • Skilled in hand-forming and sheet metal development, particularly in low-volume, prototype, or motorsport environments.
  • Comfortable working from verbal briefs and minimal documentation.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing aesthetic, high-integrity welds and components.
  • Full, clean UK driving license.

Mig Welder Salary & Benefits

  • Full time – Permanent position
  • Monday to Friday
  • Working hours – 8am – 4pm with 30 mins unpaid lunch (37.5 hours per week).
  • Salary – £25,000.00 – £30,250.00 per year DOE
  • Competitive holiday allowance
  • Pension
