Industrial Refrigeration Engineer is required for our client, a leading Refrigeration company based in Manchester, who specialise in the design, installation, and service/maintenance of a wide range of Industrial Refrigeration systems. Due to expansion, our client is looking for an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Service Engineer to join their team and work on their contracts, including McCains, Bernard Matthews, and Muller.
The role will involve completing routine servicing and planned/reactive maintenance on a range of Industrial Refrigeration units such as ammonia systems. The successful Refrigeration Engineer candidate will have at least 5 years' experience completing service/maintenance tasks on a range of ammonia refrigeration systems.
Job Requirements:- 5-10 years' experience completing service and maintenance works on Industrial Refrigeration systems.
- FGAS Qualified - essential
- City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Ammonia Handling (2078)
- MEWP & PASMA certificates desirable
- Experience working in industrial settings including Food Manufacturing
- Full UK Driving Licence
- £40-52k per annum based on experience
- 40-hour week
- Door to Door travel pay paid at 1.5x or 2x, depending on when travelling
- 33 days holiday including bank holidays
- Overtime rate 1.5 & 2x
- 1-8 call out rota - plus £210 retainer for the week, £60-70 when called out.
- 4 weeks as first line and 4 weeks as second line
- Company van (Ford Transit) with optional personal use
