We are proud to represent a respected Geotechnical/Geo-environmental consultancy based in Warwick, currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer with approximately 5-7 years of relevant industry experience. This role will suit an experienced professional looking to take on greater technical responsibility and lead on the delivery of complex site investigation and reporting work.

The successful candidate will be primarily office-based but will still spend time on site as needed, particularly during project mobilisation and QA/QC phases. You will work closely with junior staff, technical leads and clients to deliver projects efficiently, manage workloads, contribute to reporting, and help shape project strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step into a more senior delivery and leadership role within a highly regarded, technically strong consultancy.

Job Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • BSc (or higher) in Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science or related field
  • Around 5-7 years' experience within a geotechnical and/or geo-environmental consultancy
  • Strong understanding of UK ground conditions and relevant investigation techniques
  • Experience overseeing fieldwork, including health & safety, site logistics, and supervision
  • Competence in producing detailed technical reports (factual and interpretive)
  • Project management skills, including programming, scheduling, and cost control
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to liaise confidently with clients, regulators and subcontractors
  • Ability to support and mentor junior team members
Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Paid travel time and expenses for all site visits
