Junior Estimator required for our client, a market leader in manufacturing electrical distribution boards for over 60 years, working with companies all over the UK. The role will involve providing quotations and costs and advising on the most appropriate products/solutions for wholesalers, SML organisations and individuals. You will be based in Cheshunt and office based.
Salary & Benefits
- £35,000 - £40,000
- Mon-Fri (39-hour week, 2pm finish on Friday)

Job Overview
- Manage a central sales mailbox and provide costs and quotes to project managers, engineers and clients.
- Be the main point of contact for all sales calls.
- Present estimates to clients and stakeholders in a clear and professional manner, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist the wider sales team in any administrative duties.
- Assist the experienced estimators in preparing accurate and timely cost estimates.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within an Estimator role.
- Experience within the Electrical field.
- Mechanical or Manufacturing experience (desirable).
- Knowledge of LV switchgear products (ACBs, MCCBs, MCBs, Isolators, Fuse switches, ATS, Panel boards, Distribution boards, consumer units) (desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with clients, team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to organise workload and manage detailing/issue of drawings.
- Good telephone and communication skills.
- Organisational and administration skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
