This hands-on role involves setting up and operating CNC press brake machinery to shape sheet metal components accurately, ensuring quality and precision for all production jobs. Job Overview
- Set up and program folding details into CNC press brake machines according to job specifications
- Work out bend sequences using engineering drawings
- Interpret engineering drawings and production schedules accurately
- Operate machinery safely with accuracy and consistency
- Conduct quality checks and maintain production standards
- Perform routine maintenance and basic machine troubleshooting
- Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient work area
- Work to tight deadlines
- Be adaptable and flexible to changing production needs
Requirements
- Prior experience as a press brake operator or in a similar role
- Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong mechanical ability and hands-on approach

Hours of Work
- Full-time, hands-on role in a busy workshop environment
- Flexible hours to meet production schedules (09:00-16:30 Monday-Thursday and 06:00-13:30 Fridays)
