Our client, a well-established and family-run Commercial Heating & Ventilation specialist based near Brighton on the South Coast, is currently seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join their expanding team. With a strong presence in the catering, hospitality, and public sectors, they deliver high-quality service, maintenance, repairs, and installations. Due to ongoing growth and customer demand, they are now recruiting for an engineer to cover Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for attending a range of sites, including restaurants, hotels, pubs, schools, and private residences. You'll be carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive servicing, fault-finding, and repairs on a range of HVAC and catering equipment.
HVAC Engineer OverviewThe HVAC Engineer will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis on a wide range of commercial HVAC and Catering systems. This role will involve troubleshooting and resolving issues in various settings, including restaurants, hotels, schools, pubs, and private properties. The engineer will ensure all work is completed to high industry standards, following latest legislation and compliance. All work will be across Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.
HVAC Engineer Job Requirements- Must hold ACS Commercial Gas Tickets
- Additionally, must hold ComCat 1, 3 and 5
- F-Gas is required
- Experience covering mixed commercial contracts
- Additional electrical competency will be beneficial
- Ability to cover Yorkshire across to the borders of Lancashire
- Full UK Driving license
- Salary is flexible depending on experience
- 40-hour week
- Travel paid door to door
- Overtime 1.5x & 2x
