Graduate Mechanical Engineer required for our client, a manufacturer within the HVAC sector, specifically AHUs and ventilation systems. Our client is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their projects division as a junior applications engineer.
The graduate mechanical engineer/applications engineer would be working from their office in Haywards Heath. As a junior applications engineer, you will be responsible for assisting and working alongside senior engineers, providing technical application support for ventilation and AHU products, including system selection and sizing in line with project specifications and regulations. You will also be assisting in producing technical submittals, schedules, and performance data (airflow, pressure, noise, energy) to support tender and approval stages. Full training will be provided within the business.
The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will need to hold either a Mechanical Engineering degree or be qualified to HNC/HND level. Significant progression opportunities are expected within the role, once full training is completed, within the business.
Job Requirements:- Mechanical Engineering degree or mechanical HNC/HND
- Must hold an interest in progressing into the HVAC sector
- Based within commutable distance of Haywards Heath
- Computer literate with MS Office; full training will be given with specific design/estimating software within the business
- Salary: Β£28k to Β£30k depending on experience
- Working hours: 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Thursday, 5pm finish on a Friday
- 20 days annual leave (5 taken over Christmas) plus bank holiday
