Salary up to £50,000. Our client is currently recruiting a Finance Project Controller / Project Controls Manager to join their specialist Civil Engineering contracting business. The company that the Project Controls Manager will be working for is a well-established Civil Engineering contractor, working on projects from conception through construction to project delivery. The company's specialities span across a variety of different sectors including water and waste water, infrastructure and coastal protection. The Project Controls Manager will be working on a prestigious project in Hampshire.
The Project Controls Manager will establish and maintain effective tools and systems to support project delivery & reporting, supporting the Project Director and other members of the Project Leadership Team. The ideal Project Controls Manager will be well adverse in delivering complex construction projects.
Position Remuneration:- Salary- up to £50k

- Serve as a point of contact for pricing, cost control, planning/scheduling, document control, BIM and/or risk analysis.
- Provide support to members of the construction management and commercial/QS team, in cost estimating, programming, risk management, resource forecasting, change management and document control including BIM.
- Provide continuity between the cost control, planning/scheduling, and estimating functions and deliverables.
- Co-ordinate production of Earned Value analysis.
- Effectively communicate with Joint Venture parties' in-house teams and with clients on project controls issues.
- Lead project level reporting and the timely informing of management to drive compliance activities and reporting.
- Develop requirements for the Information Delivery Plan.
- Compile Monthly Report, obtaining information from project team.
- Agree contents and compile information for H&S File.
- Oversee the BIM plan implementation and ensure nesting within wider project controls.
- Oversee documents control activities in particular use of Common Data Environment (CDE).
- Produce Execution Schedules in conjunction with the Project Planner.
- Bachelors or Masters within Business, Finance/Accounting, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience of large complex construction projects.
- Understanding of scheduling/programming, cost forecasting, dashboards and senior level reporting.
- Knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts & practical experience of change management.
- BIM and document management.
- Knowledge of construction techniques in particular water projects.
- Joint venture project experience would be advantageous.
