Technical Sales Administrator required for an engineering company based in Watford. The aim of the position will include the following:

  • Increase the company's sales by interacting with customers.
  • Carrying out sales admin & logistical activities to ensure customer orders are processed & delivered on time.
  • Introducing new and maintaining existing product ranges.

Position Overview:

  • Sales Admin - Order processing & progressing; following up customer enquiries and marketing activities; following up on actions in conjunction with the field sales team; liaising with the field sales team about customer opportunities.
  • Tech Support - providing technical support to the external sales team and customers, including preparation of quotes; giving guidance on product selection.
  • Product Management - market & competitor research, identifying required products and new market opportunities, overseeing the introduction of new product ranges.

Position Requirements:

  • Either a junior level (Graduate or college leaver in engineering or similar) or experienced Sales admin within engineering.
  • Questioning skills.
  • Telephone skills.
  • Communication skills.
  • Time management skills.
  • Computer skills: Windows, Word, Excel.
  • Ability to understand technical products and technical challenges of customers.

Position Remuneration: £26k-£32k dependent on experience.
