An exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a growing consultancy, working across housing, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Involved from feasibility through to detailed design and construction, with expertise in drainage, highways, SuDS, flood risk and earthworks.

- Strong software skills (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage)

Job Overview:
- Undertaking drainage and highway design in line with current UK standards
- Preparing and reviewing Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
- Delivering Flood Risk Assessments and technical reports
- Carrying out earthworks design and site appraisals
- Using industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/Flow, PDS, Causeway)
- Liaising with clients, developers, and local authorities to achieve approvals
- Supporting junior engineers and contributing to a positive, knowledge-sharing team culture
Job Requirements:
- Degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years' consultancy experience in civil engineering design
- Strong understanding of UK planning procedures and relevant design codes (DMRB, Water UK Sewerage Sector Guidance, Manual for Streets, Local Authority Design Guides)
- Proficiency in technical software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload and deadlines effectively
- A full UK driving licence would be advantageous
