Forklift Engineer required. My client is a well-established supplier and maintainer of Lift Trucks based in Bristol. They are now looking to hire an experienced FLT Engineer to join their established team and boost their service coverage in the South West. The ideal candidate will have a strong Forklift maintenance background, be multiskilled, be LOLER certified and will be based within a commutable distance of Bristol.
Forklift Engineer Position Overview
- Attending pre-planned maintenance works at customer sites across the South West
- Undertaking service, maintenance and repair works as required
- Performing fault finding, diagnosis and rectification on a range of LPG, Li-ION and Diesel Lift trucks
- Maintenance work on hydraulic lifting systems
- Performing LOLER examinations to ensure machinery is kept in top condition and is safe for use
- Travelling throughout the South West of England to a range of industrial sites
Forklift Engineer Position Requirements
- Previous experience servicing and maintaining Forklift trucks
- Strong hydraulic experience
- A multiskilled skillset is desired however mechanical/electrical bias will be considered
- LOLER/thorough examination certified
- Full manual driving licence
- Prepared to travel throughout South West England
- Based within a commutable distance of Bristol
Forklift Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary £34,000 - £38,000 DOE
- Overtime available
- 28 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
- Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00
- Company van provided for business use
