A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Group Finance Manager within a reputable, and growing group of Construction practices. This is a flexible fully remote part time role, working 3-4 days a week, paying up to £55k FTE.
The successful candidate will be taking ownership of day-to-day financial management, reporting, cashflow control and statutory coordination across a group of trading companies, property portfolios and family investment vehicles. The main operating business is based in Whiteley, where you will be required for at least the first 2 weeks, to be trained on different processes, structures, and software.
Job responsibilities:- Act as the single point of financial control across a diverse group of operating companies, property entities, investments and trusts
- Maintain accurate, timely accounting records with consistent processes, controls and reporting standards group-wide
- Lead cashflow forecasting and liquidity planning, including weekly and rolling projections
- Produce monthly management accounts, sales, margin and debtor reporting to support operational decision-making
- Oversee credit control, supplier payments and invoice verification, ensuring strong working capital management
- Provide financial oversight for property portfolios, including rental income tracking, refurbishment spend and property-level P&Ls
- Manage statutory compliance, year-end accounts, audits and filings, liaising with external accountants and advisers
- Support investment and capital tracking, including capital injections, performance summaries and reconciliations
- Maintain strong governance and transparency across trusts and investment vehicles, supporting long-term scalability
- Multi-entity accounting experience
- Excellent experience across cashflow forecasting & management accounts, credit control and supplier payments, and property portfolio finance exposure
- Experience working at management level
- Able to travel to Whiteley occasionally
- Must be a proactive and logical individual. Someone able to add value and advice for different processes
- ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualifications are beneficial. Qualified by experience will also be considered
- Commercially minded and detail-focused, calm and dependable, and must be comfortable operating autonomously
