Our client is looking for a skilled Mobile Plant Engineer to join their team based out of a depot in Dudley. With over 40 years of experience in plant sales, they supply new and used construction machinery and tools, including skid steer loaders, excavators, telescopic handlers, road and compaction equipment, dumpers, portable power solutions, hydraulic breakers, and a range of professional tools. This position has arisen due to company growth. They operate from two depots across the Midlands and have built a reputation for providing high-quality equipment to a diverse customer base, including construction, civil engineering, agriculture, mining, quarrying, forestry, landscaping, and materials handling industries.
Job Overview
- Respond to breakdowns at customer sites, diagnosing faults and performing necessary maintenance or repairs on plant equipment.
- Service, repair, and maintain a variety of plant and construction machinery.
- Travel to customer locations as required.
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while delivering excellent customer service.

Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a Mobile Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter, Plant Technician, or Plant Mechanic.
- Hands-on experience with plant machinery, including excavators, diggers, rollers, and dumpers.
- Within commutable distance of Dudley.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and minimal supervision required.
- Professional, confident demeanour with excellent communication skills.
- Full, valid driving licence (essential).
Salary & Benefits
- £35,000-£40,000 salary dependant on experience.
- Monday-Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm - Overtime available.
