A Commercial Catering Engineer is required for a client who is based on the South Coast near Brighton, they are a leading commercial catering equipment company supplying the catering, hospitality, and public sectors. They offer full turnkey solutions to all clients carrying out service, maintenance, repairs, and installations on all types of commercial catering and refrigeration equipment. This role has come up due to continued demand and new contracts starting.
The Commercial Catering Engineer will be required to provide service, maintenance, and breakdown of catering equipment, including fryers, ovens, microwaves, and steamers. The engineer will attend sites across East Anglia, such as restaurants, hotels, schools, and bars.
Position Overview: As a Catering Engineer, you will be carrying out maintenance, repairs, and fault finding of catering equipment including cook line equipment and ware washing. Experience with Rational and dishwashers would be an advantage.
Position Requirements:
- Comcat 1, 3 and 5
- Minimum experience working on electrical catering
- Live within East Anglia - covering Norfolk and Suffolk
- Commercial Catering Equipment industry experience
- Experience in electrical and gas catering equipment repair & maintenance
- Experience with Rational and dishwashers would be an advantage
- Full UK driving licence
Position Remuneration:
- £42-47k depending on experience
- 40-hour week
- Door to door travel paid
- 1 in 6 weeks call out rota and paid retainer
- Company Van, personal use and fuel card
- Overtime - 1.5x & 2x
- 21 days holiday rising to 25 days after 3 years' service plus bank holiday
