Bennett and Game are currently working with an established, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy based in Lenham who are looking to recruit a Civil Engineer to join their growing team. With a strong presence across residential, education, commercial, and industrial sectors, this is an excellent opportunity for a civil engineer to work on a broad range of infrastructure projects with a forward-thinking team.
The role offers hybrid working, with the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week.
Civil Engineer Job Requirements- HNC/HND or Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years' experience within a UK-based consultancy, delivering infrastructure and civil engineering design
- Proficient in AutoCAD and either PDS or Civil3D
- Experience with Causeway Flow preferred (MicroDrainage experience also considered with willingness to retrain)
- Strong technical knowledge of highway design, drainage strategy, SuDS, and levels design
- Confident preparing technical submissions and engaging with relevant authorities (e.g. S38, S278 approvals)
- Understanding of geotechnical inputs for drainage and highway layouts
- Experience conducting Flood Risk Assessments and site walkovers
- Familiarity with CDM 2015 Regulations
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills, able to manage workload independently and liaise with clients
- Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
