Commercial Gas Engineer required in London. Our client offers their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC solutions including commercial boilers, heating systems, mechanical plant equipment, air conditioning and chillers. Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

Position - Salary & Benefits

  • Basic Salary £55,000 - £60,000 DOE
  • Company Van - Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
  • Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service - Up to £3,600 tax free
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x 40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
  • On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed - if called out Travel Paid door to door)
  • Pension
  • 22 days' holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.
  • Company uniform, phone & PDA

Position Overview

The Commercial Gas Engineer must hold valid ACS Commercial Gas Tickets and be able to cover the region for the clients listed above with day-to-day tasks including planned and reactive service and maintenance visits as well as responding to breakdowns, performing fault finding tasks and carrying out repairs to Commercial Boilers, Commercial Gas appliances, General Plant Room/Mechanical equipment.

  • Commercial Gas Tickets (CODNCO1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CORT1, CDGA1)
  • NVQ in Heating & Ventilation
  • Full drivers' licence
  • Live within a commutable distance of London
