With over 30 years of industry presence, they are now seeking a Civil Engineer to join their growing team due to continued project success and a strong project pipeline. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Civil Engineer looking to take the next step in their career and join a forward-thinking consultancy, working alongside and learning from Chartered Civil Engineers within the business on a diverse range of projects.
Job Overview
- Assist in the design and delivery of civil engineering schemes across multiple sectors
- Focus on drainage and infrastructure design for planning and technical approval stages
- Deliver projects typically ranging from £4M-£15M in value
- Work across residential developments, education facilities, commercial refurbishments, and heritage conversions
- Coordinate designs with internal structural teams and external consultants
- Ensure compliance with adoptable standards including SuDS, Section 104, 106, and 278
- Attend design meetings and support client liaison throughout project lifecycles
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and continuous improvement culture
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience within a UK-based consultancy
- Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred but not essential)
- Proficient in drainage and infrastructure design (foul & surface water)
- Experience with Section 104, 106, and 278 agreements
- Working knowledge of MicroDrainage, Civil 3D, or PDS
- Ambitious to work toward Chartership and develop professionally
- Based within a commutable distance to Cardiff, or open to relocation
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
