Our client is a nationally recognised, multi-award-winning consultancy with over 270 staff across 9 UK offices. They provide a comprehensive range of professional services including architecture, building consultancy, interior design, landscape, masterplanning, and sustainability. This opportunity is based in the Shrewsbury office, joining a collaborative and forward-thinking team known for its people-first culture. The role will offer exposure to a variety of commercial and education projects, combining both professional and project-based surveying work. With a strong focus on development and progression, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Building Surveyor to continue progressing towards chartership in a supportive and engaging environment.

Salary & Benefits:

Job Overview:

As a Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering professional and project-led building surveying services. You will be involved in technical inspections, contract administration, refurbishment schemes, and condition reporting across a range of sectors including education, commercial, and residential.

Job Requirements:

  • RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying or similar
  • 2-5 years' experience in a consultancy environment
  • Progressing towards MRICS (APC support available)
  • Experience with professional and project-based surveying work
  • Strong technical report writing and communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel
