CNC Laser Specialist required. Our client is a well-established metal fabrication business based in the Kingswinford area, who due to ongoing growth and services expansion are now seeking a CNC Laser Specialist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full CNC laser operations including sales generation, customer management, CNC programming and machine operation.
- Generating new business for CNC laser cutting services
- Creating and optimising CNC laser programs from customer drawings
- Nesting jobs effectively to maximise material yield
- Setting up and operating the CNC laser machine
- Producing accurate and competitive quotations
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machinery
- Strong CNC programming experience (e.g., CAD/CAM software)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Based in a commutable distance of Kingswinford
- Strong commercial awareness and cost control understanding
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position. 40 hour working week.
