Project Engineer opportunity available with our client, a specialist Bristol-based BMS contractor with over 25 years' experience in the design, installation, and commissioning of commercial building management systems across the South-West.
Job Overview
- Visiting sites to complete pre-contract checks and measurements of commercial plant rooms
- Liaising with control panel providers, sourcing costing, timeframe, and logistics information
- Working alongside Design and Technical Managers to get quotes sent out
- Being the point of contact for customers and discussing on-site logistics and timeframes throughout the project
- Assisting Commissioning Engineers as and when required
Job Requirements
- Hold a basic level understanding of commercial mechanical and/or electrical equipment such as boilers, heat pumps, pumps, motors, control panels, etc.
- Previous experience in a role supporting technical sales, such as sizing and selecting mechanical/electrical equipment from customer specifications
- Site experience would be desirable but not essential
- Hold a UK driving licence
- Based within a commutable distance of Bristol
Salary & Benefits
- Basic salary £30,000 - £35,000, negotiable depending on experience
- Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
- One hour lunch break
- 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
