We\'ve partnered with a well-established and growing HVAC contractor based in Sussex, with over 10 years of industry experience. They provide full turnkey solutions—from installation through to service and maintenance—and are a trusted Daikin, Mitsubishi and Panasonic Business Partner. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join their team.

The Air Conditioning Engineer will be working across the Western Home Counties (Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire) across various Commercial and high‑end residential contracts.

The Air Conditioning engineer will perform service, maintenance, breakdown, and fault‑finding tasks on air conditioning equipment, including VRVs, VRFs, splits, and Multi‑splits.

It is expected that the Air Conditioning Engineer will have proven experience within the HVAC industry and hold recognised qualifications and certifications such as an NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and refrigeration or the City and Guilds equivalent as well as F‑Gas 2079 or Safe Handling of Refrigerants.

Air Conditioning Service Engineer Job Requirements

  • Experience carrying out servicing and repair works on Air Conditioning equipment
  • Minimum 5 years\' experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer
  • Live in or around Buckinghamshire, Berkshire or Hertfordshire
  • F‑gas certification
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in air conditioning is beneficial
  • Full driving licence

Air Conditioning Service Engineer Salary & Benefits

  • £40‑47k (dependent on experience)
  • Travel pay
  • Overtime rates 1.5x & 2x
  • £3k Bonus per annum based on KPIs
