Workshop Operative

Workshop Operative required. Our client is a well-established engineering company that is one of the market leaders in the industrial wheel and castor industry. They are seeking a workshop operative to assist with the Polyurethane Moulding. Other duties may include Welding, manual and CNC Machining; however, the main purpose of the position will be to assist with the moulding.

Workshop Operative Job Overview

• Polyurethane Moulding
• Set and Operate CNC Lathes
• Read & interpret drawings
• Carrying out Quality Inspection on own work to drawings
• Reporting to the Production Manager, and reporting any quality issues

Workshop Operative Job Requirements

• Proven background in Polyurethane Moulding is very advantageous
• Setting and operating of CNC Turning machines would also be advantageous
• Welding experience is preferred but not essential
• Based in a commutable distance of Birmingham
• Full UK Driving License

Workshop Operative Salary & Benefits

• Full time – Permanent
• Salary £23,500 – £25,000 Dependent upon experience
• Monday to Friday – 08:30 to 17:00
• Pension
