A growing materials handling business is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join its team.
This is a field-based role servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment across a local customer base.
- Role
- Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and MHE.
- Diagnose and fault-find mechanical and basic electrical issues.
- Attend customer sites within approximately a 50-mile radius.
- Work to a planned schedule of servicing and maintenance.
- Complete service reports and manage van stock accurately.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
Requirements
- Previous mechanical engineering/service & maintenance experience.
- Forklift or materials handling experience is desirable.
- Engineers from a strong mechanical background looking to develop within MHE will also be considered.
- Basic electrical fault-finding knowledge is beneficial.
- Full UK driving licence.
Package
- Package£34,000 - £38,000 salary DOECore working hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday Company vehicle and tools/equipment.
