Due to an internal promotion, they are now looking to recruit a Transport Planner to join their growing team.

Role Overview

  • Plan and coordinate daily workloads for a fleet of 8 HGVs
  • Organise delivery schedules to maximise efficiency and meet customer deadlines
  • Prepare and manage dispatch and delivery documentation
  • Allocate loads and routes effectively across drivers
  • Liaise with drivers, warehouse staff, and internal teams
  • Monitor transport operations and adjust plans as required
  • Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience in transport planning, logistics coordination, or a similar role
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
