- Location: West Bromwich
- Salary: £32,000 - 34,500
- Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday & 7:30am to 12:30pm on Friday
Position Overview
- Repair and maintain press tools and welding jigs and fixtures, assisting in solving production problems in the press shop.
- Repair and carry out preventative maintenance on press tools of various sizes and support production in achieving daily goals.
- Comply with the Companies Health and Safety procedures and report any Health and Safety issues to the Toolroom Team Leader.
- Oversee any tool/jig modifications when required.
Position Requirements
- Ability to use manual toolroom equipment such as Surface Grinders, Lathes, Millers, etc.
- Ability to repair and maintain press tools from 45-ton to 400-ton single operation and progression tools.
- Good timekeeper, as the role is fundamental to the efficient operation of the department.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve on tools that are in press.
Position Package
- Annual salary: £32,000 - £34,500 (weekly pay)
- Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday & 7:30am to 12:30pm on Friday
