Exciting opportunity within a Chartered Accountancy Practice for a Senior Client Accountant based in East Grinstead. This full-time, permanent role is well suited to an experienced Tax Accountant looking to work closely with an already established set portfolio. The Accountancy Practice is well established and is currently growing exponentially.
As Tax Portfolio Manager, you will work directly alongside the partner acting as the main point of contact for all client communications and queries within the Accountancy Practice, while also assisting with the review and training of juniors when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing clients including, but not limited to, meetings and phone calls to discuss accounts/tax returns, responding to queries and providing technical advice.
- Advise clients on best practice and process.
- Aid with staff training and development.
- Dealing with HMRC in relation to inspections or enquiries, as necessary.
- Preparing advance assurance forms to HMRC for various situations.
- Personal and business tax returns.
- Assisting in all areas as required by the partners.
- 4+ years' experience within Accountancy Practice.
- Preferably ACCA / ACA / ATT / CTA Qualified.
- QBE encouraged to apply.
- Within commutable distance from East Grinstead.
- Full driver's license and own car.
- Hybrid (up to 4 days at home).
- 4% of work billed paid each month.
- Private medical care.
