About the company: Recently partnered with an HVAC specialist contractor operating across the North West region. The business is a long-established contractor with over 50 years of experience, delivering HVAC services within the commercial and data centre sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an HVAC Service Manager to join the team.
Role overview: The HVAC Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day service operations, including planning and scheduling engineers, coordinating small works, liaising with clients, and providing technical support to directly employed engineers and subcontractors. The role will also involve managing the day-to-day financial aspects of the department, including invoicing, preparing quotations, and overseeing P&L performance. Long term, the HVAC Service Manager will play a key role in driving the growth of the service department and the wider business, helping to expand existing service agreements and secure new opportunities. The role will be office-based approximately 75% of the time, with occasional site visits across the Northwest as required.
Requirements:
- Technical experience across HVAC - ideally held roles as service engineer or similar
- Able to plan, coordinate and manage financials across the service agreements
- Previous experience of managing engineers (internal and sub-contractors)
- Able to travel to company office in Mottram and occasionally attend client meetings across Northwest
- Hold UK Driving License
Salary & Benefits:
- Upwards of £50k per annum depending on experience
- 20 days holiday plus bank holiday
- Bonus/profit after 12 months
- Travel allowance - 55p for first 10,000 miles & 25p per 10,000 miles
- 3% pension
