An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced SHEQ Manager to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving best practice across Safety, Health, Environment and Quality, while embedding a proactive and compliant SHEQ culture throughout the business.
The SHEQ Manager will lead and oversee all aspects of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality across operational activities. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with legislation, industry standards, and internal policies, while promoting continuous improvement, risk awareness, and operational excellence.
You will be responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and improving SHEQ systems, including driving and maintaining ISO accreditations (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001), undertaking audits, investigating incidents, and working closely with teams across the business to embed SHEQ into day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and review SHEQ policies, procedures, and processes in line with current legislation and business requirements.
