Our client, a specialist Commercial Catering company, is looking to expand its service team following recent success in securing new tenders. They are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to cover East London and Essex.
The role involves performing planned and reactive service work, as well as repairs on small to medium commercial refrigeration equipment, including refrigeration cabinets, cold rooms, ice machines, cellar cooling, and bottle coolers. Customers include businesses within the commercial and retail sectors, such as pubs, clubs, shops, restaurants, and hotels.
Candidates must hold recognized qualifications and certifications, such as an NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or a City & Guilds equivalent, along with F-Gas or Safe Handling of Refrigerants certification.
Additionally, holding Electrical qualifications and/or ComCat 1, 3, and 5 certifications would be advantageous and will contribute to a higher starting salary.
Responsibilities:
- Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience on small to medium commercial refrigeration systems.
- Experience working on refrigeration cabinets, cold rooms, ice machines, cellar cooling, and bottle coolers.
- Additional experience working on catering equipment will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of air conditioning service works.
- Be based in East London & Essex.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
- Electrical qualifications (18th edition) and/or ComCat 1, 3, and 5 will be advantageous.
Salary & Benefits:
- 40-hour week.
- Travel paid door to door.
- Overtime 1.5x & 2x.
