Bennett and Game are pleased to be representing a well-established specialist engineering contractor based in Cardiff looking to employ a Commercial Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing business delivering a varied portfolio of infrastructure and engineering projects across the rail, highways, environmental and civil engineering sectors.
The company specialises in steel fabrication, structural strengthening, scaffolding, blasting and protective coatings, working on projects including bridges, flood defence schemes, lock gates, marine structures and wider infrastructure refurbishment works.
The successful candidate will join a modern and friendly working environment and take responsibility for the commercial management of approximately 20 live projects at any one time. The role will involve working closely with Project Managers, engineers, clients and principal contractors to ensure applications, valuations, invoices and commercial documentation are completed accurately and on time.
This position would suit an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager from a civil engineering, infrastructure, fabrication or specialist subcontracting background who is looking for a secure, long-term position with a respected engineering business.
