We are seeking a skilled and motivated Agricultural Engineer to join a growing engineering team based in Preston. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, and supporting agricultural machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Role Overview- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on agricultural machinery and equipment.
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections.
- Install, test, and commission agricultural machinery and systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers when required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet service and operational targets.
- Attend customer sites for breakdowns and field service work when necessary.
- Keep up to date with new technologies and developments within the agricultural engineering sector.
- Previous experience as an Agricultural Engineer, Service Engineer, Plant Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment.
- Experience working with hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant engineering qualifications are desirable.
