Position: Pipefitter Location: Plympton, PL7 Rate: £28.00 - £30.00 My client is a well-established engineering contractor specialising in mechanical engineering and industrial pipework installations. They are looking to recruit an experienced Pipefitter to join their team for a long-term site-based project in Plympton on a CIS, Self employed basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial pipefitting, with experience installing, modifying, repairing and maintaining a range of industrial pipework and mechanical systems. Pipefitter Position Overview Measuring, cutting, preparing and assembling pipework Pipework modifications, alterations and rerouting Installation of steel, plastic and compressed air pipework systems Carrying out pipework repairs and replacements General mechanical fitting and equipment installation Installing valves, fittings, flanges and associated mechanical components Working from engineering drawings, layouts and site instructions Identifying and resolving issues with existing pipework systems Supporting general mechanical installation and maintenance activities Working safely in accordance with site-specific health
