Our client is an established, award-winning architectural practice with a strong reputation across Healthcare, Education, Defence, Heritage and Commercial architecture. They are currently seeking a Senior Architect to join their expanding team due to winning a number of projects in a range of Frameworks. With a significant pipeline of new work secured, including major Healthcare & Commercial frameworks, they are looking to strengthen their established team with an experienced Senior Architect.This is an excellent opportunity for an Architect who enjoys variety. Projects range from Healthcare and Education schemes through to Defence, Commercial refurbishments, new-builds and listed/heritage buildings, with typical project values sitting around £1m-£2m and schemes extending up to £10m.
You will be involved in the delivery of a varied portfolio of projects, working closely with clients, consultants and contractors and contributing throughout the project lifecycle. The role will suit someone who is confident technically, comfortable taking responsibility and capable of working across different architectural sectors. There is flexibility around whether your strongest software is Revit or AutoCAD, provided you are proficient in at least one.
Alongside project delivery, there is also genuine potential for progression. For the right individual, particularly someone with business development and client-facing strengths, there is scope to develop towards an Associate-level position and potentially a future leadership/partnership role.
Salary & Benefits Circa £45,000 salary, with flexibility for the right candidate.

Senior Architect Requirements
- Qualified Architect with strong post-Part 3 experience
- Proven experience working on projects from concept through to completion
- Strong technical and design capability
- Excellent proficiency in either Revit or AutoCAD
- Experience across sectors such as healthcare, education, defence, commercial or heritage would be highly advantageous
- Experience with listed buildings or conservation would be desirable
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- A proactive approach to project delivery and problem solving
- Candidates with strong business development experience or ambitions to progress into an Associate/leadership role are particularly encouraged to apply
