Project: Residential adaptation and extension (disabled unit)
Project value: Approx. £1.3m
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day management of a residential adaptation and extension project.
- Support the Site Manager in coordinating subcontractors and direct labour on site.
- Monitor progress and help ensure works are delivered in line with programme requirements.
- Assist with quality control inspections to maintain high standards of finish.
- Support site health and safety procedures and general site organisation.
- Help coordinate materials, deliveries and site logistics.
- Liaise with trades and suppliers to support smooth project delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor or Foreman on residential or similar projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and site operations.
- Experience working alongside multiple trades and subcontractors.
- Proactive and hands-on approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety requirements.
- SMSTS, SSSTS or equivalent qualification desirable.
- Must be based locally to Norwich or able to commute regularly to site.
