Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Agricultural Service Technician to join their team. This role focuses on maintaining, servicing, and repairing modern agricultural machinery - particularly tractors - across Norwich and the surrounding Norfolk area. You'll work independently, travelling directly from home or the workshop to customer sites, supported by a well-established depot for parts collection and technical support.
Role Overview
- Diagnose, service, and repair agricultural tractors, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Carry out computer-based diagnostics on modern machinery; equipment and software provided.
- Travel to customer sites across Norfolk, typically starting the day from home.
- Return to the depot as required to collect parts and prepare for upcoming jobs.
- Participate in occasional on-call and weekend work due to the nature of the agricultural industry.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, professionalism, and accuracy in reporting.
Requirements
- Ideally experience working on Case tractors (advantageous but not essential).
- Background in agricultural, plant, forklift, HGV, or similar mechanical engineering.
- Strong knowledge in hydraulics, electrics, or mechanical systems.
- Confident carrying out diagnostics.
