We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Fitter to join a well-established company specialising in architectural metalwork. This role involves the installation of high-quality structural and decorative steelwork across sites in Dublin. The successful candidate will work as part of a team installing feature staircases, balustrades, railings, and escape stairs, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday, 5:30am departure from workshop (Newry) and 5:30pm return to workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of architectural metalwork including feature staircases, escape stairs, railings and balustrades.
- Work from engineering drawings to complete on-site installations.
- Ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the site team to meet project deadlines.
- Handle and fit mild steel and stainless steel components.
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years' experience in architectural metalwork fitting.
- Proven experience installing feature staircases, escape stairs, railings and balustrades.
- Experience working with mild steel and stainless steel.
- Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings.
- Experience working on-site as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
