Position: Operations Manager

Location: Canary Wharf

Salary: £65k plus £450 per month car allowance

Our client are specialist providers in managing Heat Network/District Heating with over 50 years of delivering energy-efficient and sustainable solutions. They are seeking an Operations Manager to lead a portfolio of high-density Heat Networks in London, driving operational excellence, innovation, and client satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on leadership, building trusted client and team relationships, and embedding new ways of working into service models to deliver greater value and efficiency. The Operations Manager will be able to provide client management information on commercial and technical support. Additionally, you will have a team of engineers and an admin team to support the operations.

In the short term, the Operations Manager will focus on building strong relationships with both teams and clients, ensuring contract delivery, reducing downtime, and refreshing asset documentation. Over the medium term, the role aims to strengthen retention, achieve excellent customer satisfaction, mobilise new sites, and embed innovation. In the long term, the focus will shift to growing the portfolio, developing future leaders, supporting decarbonisation, and driving automation of monitoring.
