Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £16.64 per hour, increasing with experience
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Hours: 40 hours per week
We are looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join an established business within the powered access and MEWP industry .
This is a hands-on role working on prototype and development machines , assembling mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components and helping bring new products from design through to working machines.
The Role
- Assemble prototype and development machines.
- Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical assembly.
- Work from engineering drawings and technical instructions.
- Use hand and power tools to complete assembly work.
- Identify and resolve build issues.
- Support engineers with new product development and design changes.
- Provide practical feedback to improve products.
- Assist with testing and development of new equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, engineering or manufacturing .
- A relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship is preferred.
