Bennett and Game are currently on the lookout for a skilled Manufacturing and Fabrication Technician for one of our longest standing clients based in Bedford who work within the automated solutions of the engineering industry. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Manufacturing and Fabircation Technician with a genuine interest in engineering and manufacturing. The ideal individual should have a flexible approach to working, be trustworthy and confident to work independently with strong attention to detail. Manufacturing and Fabrication Technician Job Overview Carry out sheet metal fabrications preparation processes. Use a variety of machine and hand tools e.g., grinders, drills and rivet guns. Ensuring metal components are clean and scratch free. The pre- preparation of welded components (Dual action sanding, edge cleaning, etc). Loading, unloading and operating the automated washers. Manufacturing and Fabrication Technician Job Requirements A background of working in sheet metal. Knowledge of materials, ability to distinguish types.
