Established and highly respected precision engineering business based in Hemel Hempstead is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner / Setter / Operator to join their growing team. The company has been operating successfully for over 26 years, specialising in high‑precision machining work predominantly supplying motorsport, Formula 1, and gearbox sectors. Due to continued growth and increased workload, they are looking to strengthen their machining team within their modern, air‑conditioned facility. This is a family‑run business operated by two brothers, offering a stable and friendly working environment with excellent staff retention; several employees have been with the company for many years.
Role
- Setting and operating CNC lathes
- Editing programmes at the machine
- Producing precision‑machined components to tight tolerances
- Working from engineering drawings
- Maintaining high quality standards across all work produced
- Supporting production requirements across a busy machining environment
The company currently operates 12 CNC lathes, with separate offline programmers in place, allowing machinists to focus primarily on setting and operating duties.
