Position: Junior Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Leicester
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
Position Overview
- Producing 2D and 3D CAD drawings using Solidworks & AutoCAD, including manufacturing, layout, and DG&T drawings.
- Converting sketches and project instructions into 3D CAD models.
- Producing Bill of Materials.
- Supporting production teams with drawing updates and certification.
Position Requirements
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering / Design related subject.
- Proficient with 3D modelling software, ideally Solidworks.
- Experience / knowledge of AutoCAD is desirable.
- Good communication skills.
- Based in a commutable distance of Leicester.
Remuneration and Working Hours
- Salary: £28,000 - £32,000.
- Working hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00 - 17:00, Friday 08:00 - 13:00.
- Holiday allowance and pension.
