Industrial Refrigeration Engineer required for our client, a leading Refrigeration company based in Essex, who specialise in the design, installation, and service/maintenance of a wide range of Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration systems. Due to expansion, our client is looking for an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Service Engineer to join their team and work on their contracts across the Midlands, majority of the work will be along the M1, Hertfordshire to Nottingham

The role will involve completing routine servicing and planned/reactive maintenance on a range of Industrial Refrigeration units such as ammonia systems, Blast Chillers, Blast Freezers, Glycol Chillers, CO2 systems and Cooling Tunnels. The successful Refrigeration Engineer candidate will have at least 2 years\’ experience completing service/maintenance tasks on a range of the above systems.

  • 2+ years\’ experience completing service and maintenance works on Industrial Refrigeration systems.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
  • Ammonia Handling (2078) and Hydrocarbon (6187) tickets, CSCS Card – essential
  • Experience working in industrial settings including Food Manufacturing/Storage Centres, Distribution Centres, and Large Office Buildings
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Industrial Refrigeration Engineer – Midlands Salary & Benefits

  • £55-60k per annum based on experience
  • 50-hour week (site and travel time)
  • 33 days holiday including bank holidays
  • Overtime rate 1.5 & 2x
  • 1-5 call out rota – plus £200 stand by fee, overtime, and door-to-door travel pay
