Our clients are established household names within Commercial and Domestic M&E Engineering across London and the Home Counties, with over 120 employees. Due to continued demand, we are seeking an HIU Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Day to day you will be working around the Hounslow area, completing service, maintenance, fault‑finding and repair.
- The role will entail the installation and commissioning of HIUs and working on associated heating system components.
Job Requirements
- Over 3 years of experience working on district heating
- Hold City and Guilds and Level 2 and/or 3 in Plumbing
- Strong experience servicing and repairing Heat Interface Units (HIUs)
- Experience with heating controls, Y Plan and S Plan systems
- Live within Hounslow postcodes
- Full UK driving licence
- Desirable to hold G3 Hot Water Qualification
Salary & Benefits
- £40-43,500K per annum, depending on experience
- 5‑hour week – Monday to Friday 8‑5:30
- Overtime for all work outside of working hours is paid 2x
- Call‑out roster – frequency to be discussed at interview, varies by contract
- When on call, all work 2x, including door‑to‑door
- Company vehicle – not available for personal use
- 25 days plus Bank holidays and will rise with service
