Position: Toolmaker / Grinder Location: Aldershot Salary: £33,000 - £39,000 per annum - depending on experience Our client is a well-established engineering and manufacturing business seeking a skilled Toolmaker / Grinder to join their existing engineering team. This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced manual or CNC machinist, toolroom engineer or similar engineering professional with strong grinding experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing precision components to customer specifications, working to fine tolerances and ensuring all work is completed to the required quality standards and deadlines. Toolmaker / Grinder Position Overview Carry out precision grinding and machining activities within a toolroom and production environment. Undertake a range of grinding operations, including surface grinding, cylindrical grinding, bore/internal grinding and ring grinding. Carry out honing operations to achieve required component specifications and tolerances. Work to fine tolerances and accurately interpret technical engineering drawings. Set up and operate relevant manual and CNC machinery and grinding equipment.
