Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a well-established Civil Engineering contractor delivering infrastructure and flood defence projects.

Requirements
- HNC/HND or BEng qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- CSCS Card and SMSTS certification
- Strong working knowledge of NEC4 contracts
- Previous experience delivering civil engineering projects, ideally including flood defence schemes
- Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and project programmes
- Knowledge of construction methodologies and temporary works
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and planning software such as Asta Powerproject or MS Project
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- TWC, First Aid at Work, SEATS and/or EUSR certifications would be advantageous
Responsibilities
- Manage site teams, operatives and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently
- Produce and implement method statements, risk assessments and project management plans
- Monitor project costs against tender allowances and agreed budgets
- Prepare, manage and update project programmes
- Procure, assess and manage subcontractors throughout project delivery
- Coordinate design activities between internal teams and external consultants
- Administer NEC contracts and manage contractual change
- Ensure projects are completed on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders and local communities
- Ensure compliance with all company health, safety, environmental and quality procedures
